All Prospective participants in an instructor Course must:
 
  • Have current Provider status in the discipline they wish to teach
  • Sucessfuly pass writen exam and skills test in the discipline seeking instructor certification (Given during the course)
  • Have completed an Instructor Candidate Application (Provided During Registration)
  • Have the most recent edition of the AHA Provider Manual for the discipline they wish to teach (Provided During Registration)
  • Complete  the discipline specific Instructor Essentials Online Course. To complete the AHA Essentials Online course register at www.OnlineAHA.org 

 

 STUDENT CAN PICK UP MATERIALS AT THE COURSE LOCATION OR MATERIALS CAN BE SHIPPED.

 

The following are the steps to become an AHA Instructor:

  •  Complete the classroom discipline specific Instructor Course (Given On The Date Above)
  • Be successfully monitored teaching a course by Training Center Faculty / Regional Faculty

The Amercian Heart Association - BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to provide a wide variety of certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed, healthcare professionals with the skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or be treated with more advanced lifesaving measures.

 

The BLS course covers:

  • adult and pediatric CPR

  • two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask

  • foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious)

  • automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update)

  • special resuscitation situations

  • other cardiopulmonary emergencies

  • stroke and cardiac arrest 

 

Course Cost: $85.00 Includes Books And Material  2020 BLS Changes

The Heartsaver First Aid course provides first responders with training in basic first-aid procedures -- including the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA -- in a format that can be delivered in a single day. The course covers:

  • First Aid Basics
  • Medical Emergencies
  • Injury Emergencies
  • Environmental Emergencies

This Heartsaver First Aid classroom course teaches participants critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until EMS takes over. This text does not include CPR or AED training

Manufactures provide fitting instructions and use limitations on the product package. Respirator face pieces are made in various sizes to fit a wide variety of face shapes and sizes.
